It is so very easy to get into the habit of "doing" for everyone else and forgetting to take care of ourselves. Sometimes, it needs to be put into our schedule, so we don't forget. For many of us, the weekend is the only time we have to take care of our personal needs. This is the only time we have to clean house, do laundry, shopping, and this list can actually extend several miles. Actually, the most important thing that should be on that list is doing something for ourselves, something that makes us happy.
I remember when I worked outside of the home. By the time I got home at night, I was too exhausted to lift a finger. I would try to do the week's cooking during the weekend. That way, I would only have to heat the meal and do the dishes. Even that seemed, at times, to be an impossible task. I wasn't living during these days, I was merely existing, eeking out a living. Fun was not a part of my life. In a prolonged time period, I became sad. Sadness led to despair, and despair to apathy.
One can be apathetic and not realize it. They might even think that they have adjusted to their life situation quite well, not realizing that what they have truly done is shut down. The apathetic person has buried their emotions to the point that they just don't care about anything anymore, whether good or bad. They are in a robotic state and merely keep going. From my own experience, I do believe that apathy is a way of one's protecting themselves against any further sadness or hurt. If they shut down and withdraw within themselves, nothing can hurt them anymore.
In today's world, it is just too easy to become apathetic. I believe that we live in an apathetic society. Otherwise, we would not stand by so willingly while our freedoms are taken away, one by one. We no longer have security. Our work environment is not secure, those of us that are lucky enough to have medical insurance find ourselves paying more and more each year, only to find out that if you get sick enough, insurance coverage is not enough. Most companies no longer provide retirement benefits, the fear of being laid off is experienced daily. We are so concerned trying to make ends meet, that we lose our focus to what is really important in our lives. Not being fulfilled, after a period of time we reach apathy. We are faced with too many issues that are beyond our control.
It is time to realize what is really important in life. Everything that I have described is merely an outward reflection of who we are inside. We have the power to change it all, by merely changing who we are. By becoming a new person, no longer trapped in our meager and negative existence, we open the doors to new experiences and new possibilities. While we envy people who have broken these chains of bondage, we do not realize that it is very possible for us to follow in their footsteps. This is called the Law of Attraction which is so very popular today, and rightly so. People are finally waking up and changing the circumstances in which they live.
How does it work? I don't have a clue. It is all energy. Life is energy, positive and negative forces, and they all work so very well. Once we realize that we are entirely responsible for where we are in life, we have taken a great step. Stop blaming everyone and everything for your circumstances. Take full responsibility.
By changing your thought pattern from society's accepted norm, to someone who is vibrant, caring, and positive, you will find that your life will take an immediate turn. You will first notice that people react to you differently. The positive forces start working and you will notice your life change. How does it change you may ask? Simply by new opportunities presenting themselves in front of you. Then the choice becomes yours. Some recoil in fear and go back to their old patterns. Others let their family and friends talk them out of it, giving them every reason in the world why they won't make it. They are told, "You? You can't do that!" They will tell you that you are not good enough. Unfortunately, too many will believe them and go back to their old lives, letting go of that dream that was so very close.
We must get past that decision process and go ahead to realize our full potential. Leave those nay sayers behind. You will notice that once you are successful, they will still be saying that you can't make it. Let them go. Focus on the positive and realize your dreams.
Meditation, relaxation, taking care of yourself, doing something fun on a regular basis, all these will give you a new focus on life. Life will once again be worth living. You will make better choices, meet positive people and go on to the life that you were intended to live all along.
Life is truly what we make it. It can be monotonous or a new daily adventure. It is all in how we perceive it.

Hello there,
Good and happy day to you. Let's start discussing some preliminary thoughts for the week today. The week ahead is important for us and it seems that it will be good to begin it by contemplating some things in an overview manner.
Most of you know that our Phase 2 companies' products and services have been advertising and promotional in nature. This has been smart for us for a couple of reasons. When you're a marketer, online or off, advertising is what gets the word out about what you're marketing. It's also good to be able to refine your advertising skills and find out how to write good ad copy, subject lines and build fetching Web pages. There's another compelling reason to be part of the online advertising industry. There's a lot of money being made in online advertising.
In the first half of 2005, U.S. Internet advertising revenue reached $5.8 billion. Internet advertising revenues reached a new record of $3.9 billion for the first quarter alone of 2006. "The steady growth of online advertising is a clear indication that marketers continue to believe in the opportunities and effectiveness that this medium delivers in reaching and engaging their consumers," said Greg Stuart, CEO, Interactive Advertising Bureau.
"The Internet continues to shape the media landscape as more advertising dollars are going online," said Peter Petrusky, Director, Advisory Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers. "It is abundantly clear that marketers are seeing a compelling opportunity to leverage the Internet as a powerful medium that drives both branding and sales results."
"The consistent growth in overall revenues shows that marketers may be shifting more of their total advertising budgets to online," said David Silverman, a partner at PwC. "This is a natural development as research shows that more consumers are spending a larger percentage of their media time online, while the flow of advertising dollars follows."
It seems it's not just that more people are online and therefore there are more people to advertise to. There is an interactive aspect to online advertising that is not yet fully available on other media like television, radio and regular print media. Television advertising for one is beginning to adapt out of necessity and will continue to do so in the future, to be able to hold customers' attention.
William Makower, chief executive at online agency Panlogic, said: "The popularity of online advertising is tied to the increase in the number of people installing broadband Internet connections. "This means that people are not having to wait for a banner to load but can be interacting with the brand immediately. The interaction is something that billboards and television cannot offer."
It's wonderful to be where we are and what we are about and doing. Tomorrow I'll deliver a message that will add to these thoughts and help us to realize that where we stand as a group, right now, is such an excellent place to be. We're in just the right place, right time, developing with and gathering all the right people. It's going to be a great week.

You read that right.
I've told Google to push off.
Stop spidering me.
I no longer want my online business to depend on its ever changing whims as to what makes a good or bad ranking.
I don't want to spend time collecting thousands of backward links then find that they are probably worthless because the anchor text does not contain a suitable keyword, or the site does not have sufficient page rank, or whatever the latest algorithm is.
I don't want to buy expensive cloaking tools and run the risk of penalization.
I don't want to be bothered about whether a domain has a static or dynamic IP address or have to use different hosts to make a network of minisites.
What's that you say ? You don't need fancy tricks - just provide good relevant content.
My answer ?
Nonsense.
I have a huge content site devoted solely to ClickBank, the only one of its kind.
If you wanted to find the most relevant content for a search on the keyword 'ClickBank' don't you think that would be at the top ?
Well Google used to agree with you.
It was ranked number 2, with only ClickBank.com itself at number one.
Today it is ranked ... wait for it ... number 426.
It is beaten out of sight by sites which have nothing to do with ClickBank but happen to mention that keyword once.
I asked a search engine expert about this and he suggested that it was due to keyword density, in other words too many mentions of the word ClickBank.
Well that has to be the case - the site is after all a 'Complete Guide to ClickBank'
His advice - try replacing the word ClickBank occasionally e.g. use 'CB'.
No way.
That was the last straw and became the inspiration for me to develop a revolutionary approach to getting traffic.
It led to me being called 'The Guru who said goodbye to Google' in the marketing forums.
And this new approach ?
It uses some of the fundamental pillars of Internet marketing that you already know - techniques which will never become obsolete.
But they are combined together in a new way and with a viral twist that you won't have seen before.
It includes giving out free information in a certain way and I show you how exactly in my book, The Ultimate SuperTip.
And just to illustrate the principle: the book is free and you can reproduce this article and change the URL to point to your own rebranded version.
