Healthcare is surely a compromise anytime it becomes a part of big money, but this is truly outrageous!

Karilee the Marketing Coach [Visitor] · http://outcomemarketing.com
Thanks, Sheryl. I always encourage clients to create Gravatars, but I'd never noticed the Profile section. I've now added mine, and I'll add this bit to my Web-Powered Marketing training.

If you peek in Gravatar's Developer notes, they say "Users may optionally enter a variety of profile information to associate with their Gravatar account. This information is openly-accessible..." A (fictional) example would be a plugin developer creating an app that let you download a VCard from a blog comment.

It will be interesting to see how this develops.

Gosh Daily News...you can take my sites off of your list to ping since you left the same freakin comment on several sites we manage.

You get credit for spamming! Yeah!!!

Sure Angela is proud to have you spam with her name, just like a gazillion other people that have her "list".

Gosh Kate, this is NOT the flu (nice try at spamming). I also would not get a flu vaccine nor would I recommend it for anyone.
This years (2010) flu vaccine will contain the vaccine for H1N1 which we know is bullshit! They pumped it up as a fear tactic just like they did the Gardasil. Even WHO knows they mis-lead people.

I suggest people have their kids build up their immune system. Getting drugs for every Tom, Dick, and Harry bug that floats by is why people have no natural immunity. It also builds super bugs that cause harm to everyone.

You might notice that I am not a fan of drug pushers. Shooting crap into your body is not the best route.

I took your link out because it was a redirect & I don't publish what could be considered a false link.

Getting a flu vaccine yearly is the best way to help defend your family against the flu.

Hi, great post. A couple of comments. I have been purchasing Angela's back link package and now "ping" my profile link after setting it up and it seems to be working much better than before. If I am going to go through the effort of setting up the link I want to make sure I get credit for it.

thanks again for the post

Thanks Sheryl for the clear explanation of pinging. I also appreciate that you actually tested this out with a new site and were able to actually get quantitative results. Looks like I need to start keeping a log of my comments.

This is really great information Sheryl! My father has had ulcers for a couple of years and the lining in his stomach is all but gone. I'm going to start him on some of the different teas you have mentioned.

Thanks much,
Dan

LOL! Isha, you sound as social as a few of us other SWBN girls. No wonder we all get along as we talk in the comfort of our own homes.

I think Cait has the picture of us going to meet with Brent and Evelyn for lunch while they were here in the states.

So yes, there are very few people I leave my house for. Heck, I'm more likely to go somewhere for a dog event than anything.

OMG, you couldn't drag me to a Tweet-up. Not unless Chris Brogan or Darren Rowse or Ed Shahzade was there. Or Brent Hodgson.

Then you might be able to drag me there.

It's always the case, the spammers have to go and spoil it for everyone else don't they. Now if they could use their talents for a legitimate paid job instead of been out of work and spamming everyone they can possibly think of. Ooo it just makes me so mad...

I've never liked Ning to begin with, and though I had an account, I noticed that most of the messages were spam, and if they weren't spam they were from the guy who created the groups in the first place. I'm totally ready to cancel my account and move on, if I haven't already done so. Thanks for the update.
