Mike Adams Talks About ADHD

If you have a child that has been diagnosed with ADHD, and you are giving them medication or even considering giving them medication you will need to listen to this podcast.

Mike Adam (AKA the Health Ranger) of Naturalnews.com (Newstarget.com) has put together this information that may save you and your child from doing something dangerous.
Find out the TRUE story behind ADHD and the meds (drug known as speed) they want you to give your child.

The ADHD Scam and the Mass Drugging of Schoolchildren

After listening to this I went to the NIH (National Institute of Health) site. I put in the search for ADHD. The 1st page I hit gave me the symptoms to watch for to see if my child may have ADHD they are;

'• Impulsiveness: a child who acts quickly without thinking first.
Hyperactivity: a child who can't sit still, walks, runs, or climbs around when others are seated, talks when others are talking.
Inattention: a child who daydreams or seems to be in another world, is sidetracked by what is going on around him or her.'

This blew me away! Most kids I know that have been diagnosed with ADHD are between 5- 10 years old. Yes, they could all fit into this category. In fact every kid I know could fit into this list of symptoms.

To top it off, go into any office and watch adults in their cubicle, they too, could fit into this list.

I fit right in here also. I never sit still, I am always speaking or acting before thinking, and I live on the “sidetrack”. In fact I know many people that have thought I was on speed or some other kind of drugs. I am not on speed but, I would bet that if I ever went to a Doctor they would hand me a bottle of speed in nothing flat. A doctor or Physiatrist would most defiantly diagnose me with adult ADHD.

But wait! I found the at the NIH site the reason kids with ADHD behave as they do. They have it posted right on the NIH site;

'In youth with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), the brain matures in a normal pattern but is delayed three years in some regions, on average, compared to youth without the disorder, an imaging study by researchers at the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) has revealed.'

So would they say that my brain was just 3 years behind on development? I am 40+ years old, when will my brain finally catch up? Should I go get some speed from my local drug dealer? If I got caught doing or buying speed (little lone giving it to my child) they would arrest me, haul me off to jail, take my kids away…..BUT, if a doctor gives it to me that makes it OK?

Have the Doctors and Psychiatrist gone to far? Have they just taken a simple list of behaviors and called it a disorder so they could convince the school system to “make it easier on themselves” and order you to drug your children?
This is the same school system that has the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) group come in and talk to your kids about the dangers of drugs. Yet, they are becoming the true drug pushers.

The pharmaceutical companies have no research to tell what the long term affects of drugging your child are. I think we are starting to see these effects for ourselves on the evening news. Big Pharma is using our kids as lab rats. But, what do they care? They are filling their pockets with money and facing no criminal charges.

Go listen to what Mike has to say and do your research.

Do not just turn your child over to a drug pusher.

AudreyWhat an excellent post. While I agree that some kids need medication to help keep them focused, I believe far too many kids are being medicated that don't need it. Again, excellent information.

Dan MageI believe I've had ADHD for my entire life, although I wan't officially diagnosed with it until 38. I agree with much of what Mr.Adams is saying, and I personally think that it just has to do with a personality and type of brain that resents the confinement and boredom that society imposes. I take medication (bupropion) relatively lightweight stuff, and use lots of caffeine, and this helps me stay focused. It's probably overdiagnosed and overmedicated in children by people who just want controllable kids, but I think it's a real problem for some people. Of course the "war on drugs" is a total farce and a fraud, for the reasons listed above and many others. The corporate opposition to natural medicine and medical marijuana is motivated purely by profit. They know they would have a much harder time marketing their junk in a truly free market, so they get the government to attack the competition.

SherylI do have very strong ideas on the government’s role in our everyday life. I have a problem with the power that the Big Pharma & FDA have. I know far to many people that have kids in school that are threatened if they do not medicate their kids. I am seeing more & more how the school decides your child needs these meds & brings in the Child Welfare, police, & court system to force parents to give their child meds. If the parent does not do it they risk going to jail & loosing custody of their kids. This is now a huge problem. The school zone is to be drug free - unless you are a big company pushing meth on kids & putting parents in jail if they don't. This is a real problem that is allowed by our representatives.

In fact all of the boys that have done mass shootings at schools, have been on meds for ADD, ADHD, & anti depressants at some time as a child. I think that should alert people that more info is needed before they start medicating everyone.

I think parents need to have rights to decided what their children do. My parents did not drug me so I would sit still when told to. We also had a playground where we were allowed to run & burn off energy at recess. Now, schools have banned active play & gym. That just leaves kids wired for sound.
