Today I opened the Internet Marketers Guild Forum to see a new member.
I thought oh cool, they had even made a post.
This person made their 1st post in the Marketing Topics section.
I would prefer a person at least do an intro before trying to give to much marketing advice. But, I’ll see what they had to say.
It was to my surprise not an ad with a million links. It was just a post – no links. Hmm, could be ok but, it seemed like a post for a specific propose.
I better check out who this user is.
I have a habit of checking usernames in Google. I want to see who they are, where they come from, and their habits online.
In just seconds I could see that this person belongs to MANY forums.
I took a peek at a few and each forum was joined in the last day or so and they made the same post each place.
I then took an unique sentence from the post and stuck that in Google. Holy crap!
Only 3,550+ returns. Hmmm, this guy has been busy. Yes, almost all forums and blog comments that matched this post were left by the same person.
That is the type of junk that clogs the internet.
It ruins forums because real members have to wade through junk post to find anything good.
Blog owners finally turn off comments to their blog because of people posting junk like this.
I deleted this person from the forum!
I do not see any reason to let them abuse our members or site like that.
If each time a post like theirs was made it was deleted then maybe they would get the idea that they are wasting their time and ours!
Cleaning up the internet 1 garbage post at a time.
