Easy Window Covers Keep Heat Out

I realize this might be a bit late for summer but, I bet it will be getting hotter and might come in handy. We live in Las Vegas so the temp is still moving up.

I know that people all over have a room with windows that you just can not keep cool. The sun is beating in and may even be melting your blinds.

I have a super great remedy to block the sun and keep the heat out. This also helps keep the cold out in the winter.

Get foil covered bubble wrap by the roll. Cut it to be slightly bigger than your window so you can have a little to tape or better yet just bend to hold tight with the window sill.

If you have ever stayed in an RV in a sunny area you will have seen all the rigs with the foiled up windows. It cuts down huge amounts your electric bill.
It also works wonders in the winter to keep the cold out.
I think it also keeps aliens from reading your mind. We are near area 51 here!
When you are done for the year just place it under the bed to save for next year, we use it all year round.

Other uses –
Keep it in the windows of your spare car,
Cover your motorcycle (or Bike) seat (if it sits in the sun & not ridden).
Use it in your camper windows year round to avoid damage.
You get the idea – cover anything that may get sun damage that you can find any possible way to attach, tie, or bind it to.

Ok, that is my helpful heat tip of the day! Yip, life in Las Vegas is a lesson in itself!
