Hillary and Barack Setting The Example

I have been sitting on my hands for awhile now. I am just so mad that I guess, I may as well get this off my chest.

I watched part of the Pennsylvania debate with Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton. During the 1st hour, the only part I watched, all these 2 did was try their best to find fault with each other. They brought up everything that could be considered a personal attack. They did not debate any issues that may be of concern to the general public.

Both of them went back in time to criticize each others friendships, ministers, business partners, husbands, wives, and lifestyle. This was like watching a couple of kids on a playground slinging insults to try & make themselves feel better.

These 2 want to be the leader of our country. If your child wants to grow up and become president, this is their example.

How does all of this affect our kids?

Everyday on the news you hear stories of kids’ video taping assaults on other kids so they can post it on line to feel superior. Kids are posting downgrading remarks about their fellow students or neighbors. We have kids that are bulling & insulting each other until one has had enough. That is when we end up with a school shooting, drive by shooting, or a child committing suicide. All because someone has found a “fault” with another person & uses it to publicly humiliate them.

I am sure the Government will spend millions of dollars on research, the big pharma companies will design a new pill, & the psychiatrist will push it, until this type of behavior is called a disease.

While all that is happening, the jails and cemeteries will become home to many of our children.

Wouldn’t it be a better idea if we just made sure that leaders were setting a good example?

How can we let our elected officials know that if they want to be part of the solution, they can NOT be part of the problem?
