Who's Micro Chipping?

There are now companies that are micro chipping employees rather than having them carry a pass badge. Yes, the chip is said to be just like one you may have in your dog or cat for ID. So far this is left up to the individual employee whether they get a chip in their arm or have a chip that is in a ‘key chain’.

If you choose to leave that job, can your next potential employer just scan your arm & read your complete employment file?

Will that leave your past employers in complete control of your resume?
It is hard for me to believe that someone would let them do that, even for a high paying job.

But, what is harder to believe is that people are considering getting their children chipped. There is the argument that if a child is lost or kidnapped they could be identified. That would mean to be really useful they would have to have scanners in airports, grocery stores, schools…Then they can track every place your child goes even if they are now adults & were never lost or kidnapped. All privacy is gone!

Who is to say that some wack job (or an ex spouse…) wouldn’t get a kick out of hacking the system & placing harmful info on your assigned number? You walk past a scanner & it sends out an alarm, you are now rushed by police & hauled in because your number stated that you are the Unabomber, child murder, a terrorist… You could sit in a prison for years until they figured out the truth.

I know they are also advising people with medical problems to get chipped. That way medical records can be accessed quickly.

Would you ever get chipped for a job or medical reasons?
Would you chip your child?

Here’s a short movie about the Chips – Chips for Everyone
