Since I did my Skype Set Up Tutorials, I have a few questions that have been ask several times. I thought I should just post them here.
If you have other questions you can leave a comment and I will do my best to answer them.

If you have more than one user on a computer how do you set up more than one account, do you have to download it more than once or have I overlooked a setting to allow numerous users for one Skype account?

All you need to do is to have the other person create a skype account.

To do this LOG OUT of your skype account. Re open skype - You will now see where you place your name and password to log in. BUT WAIT!!

On the skype log in - you will see the Text that say - Do Not Have A Skype Name.

Click that and the other person can set up an account without dowloading again.

Now who ever is on line will just need to remember to log out when finished if the next person will be checking their skype calls.

When someone wants to log in you will have a dropdown to pick a name or just type it in.

How do I change how my Skype looks?

Open your Skype on your desktop,
Click on TOOLS,
At the bottom of the drop down you will click on OPTIONS.
This will open a new window,
Click GENERAL,
General settings – at the bottom of this page you will see you can change –
Your profile,
Your picture,
And Place background colors (wallpaper).

As for how others see your Skype messages, you have no control over that.

How do I set a Skype Button on a website to Text Chat Me rather than Call?

You will need to go to Make a Skype Button,
Here you can see that you will be able to choose how your button looks and the function.
Once you have put your Skype Username in the box,
Pick if you want your online status to show live,
Then you will be able to choose from the Drop down box how you want it to function when someone clicks your button.
Choose from – Call, Add Me to Skype, Chat with Me, View My Profile, Leave a Voice Mail, or Send Me a File.

Now pick your colors, style…
Copy the Web HTML Code they make for you and place it on your site or Social profile.

How do we send files though skype?
If you want to send just a single document or picture -
You will see the box of the person you are talking with, that at the top there is a SEND text. Click on that and pick, file, contacts, or payment. For this question we will click FILE
.
Now you will get a pop up window that allows you to pick a place and file on your computer to send.
Double click the file and the person you are sending it to will get a pop up window asking if they want to receive it.

BEWARE!! Do NOT accept any files that you are not expecting or from people you are not currently speaking with. Files can send viruses!

Ok, that works for a single document but, if you need to send a folder you will first need to make it into a ZIP file.
You can get free software to zip files. It is super simple to do.
